Retail is the largest private employer in Belgium. Commerce Training, the training arm of the
sector funds for the Food and Retail Trade (Joint Committees 119,202,311,312), contributes
to the career and training policy of approximately 150,000 workers and employees who work in
supermarkets, clothing stores, interior design, electrical and DIY stores, logistics warehouses,
butchers...

Our main priorities in the field of education are to ensure the quality of
the educational offering in the courses that lead to our sector, encouraging it
education to collaborate with the business community and promote the training courses that
lead to our sector.

Commerce Training is authorized to recognize workplaces in the context of dual learning
in Flanders. We strive for high-quality work placements and guide companies in this
starting and rolling out dual learning.
